The Country Cafe — Restaurant in Plattin Township

I’m writing a review on the 4 chicken dinners I purchased on 12/4/24i have been going to the country cafe for several years in which I normally purchase the fried chicken meal and I couldn’t say anything bad but seems like when I do I a to go order it’s terrible I don’t know what the problem is all chicken dinners was burnt some people count not it there’s for tasting the burnt taste see pictures below I will in further check the orders before leaving the restaurant management needs to look into quality control for I’m sure the people serving the food and management can tell it wasnt what they should be serving people let a lone charging money for it the Moto I go by and I am a baker if you wouldn’t eat it don’t serve it. I ordered biscuits and gravy. The waitress dropped them off and the gravy was cold. I ate my eggs and hashbrowns waiting for her to return so I could ask her to warm the gravy. She never came back after she dropped the plates off. My drink was empty halfway through the meal and she walked past our table a few times topping off coffees and didn't bother to check on us or top off our drinks. Then checking out she asked if i wanted to add a tip. I still said $4 (20%) even with the subpar service. Our bill was $21. I added $4 tip. Somehow i was charged $32. The food I was able to eat was okay (nothing special), service was awful. When I mentioned to the waitress that my food was cold and my drink was empty and she never checked on us, her response was "yeah there was a time it got really busy" there were maybe 5 other tables and 2 other waitresses. I am surprised by the good ratings. I went in there for the first time to order for a client of mine. The staff was extremely rude, they pay you no mind for quite some time. When they remember that you're there, they do bare minimum. They were rude to my client over the phone. People had to go to the front to try and get some service. They treat their regulars better. But gee, don't you want new customers to want to come back? Guess not. The establishment was at least clean looking. The management has a sign saying they'll withhold your check for two weeks if you quit without turning in a two week notice(I think that is illegal to withhold.
