This restaurant is criminally underrated.
I initially decided to try it on the strength of a glowing review left by one of my teachers from school. I ordered the gyro plate and my mom ordered the grilled chicken kebab. We also ordered a baklava for dessert.
Upon the food arriving, we were greeted by two of the most delicious plates we have ever seen. Typically, restaurants will show delicious looking food in commercials and advertisements while the food in the restaurant looks significantly less appetizing; but that’s not the case here. The food in the restaurant looks just as appetizing in person as it does in the photos on their social media.
My gyro plate featured beef, lamb, a vegetable skewer, pita bread, basmati rice, hummus, and salad. The beef and lamb were some of the best meat I have ever tasted, managing to capture the perfect balance between tender and crisp. The vegetable skewer was grilled, which gave it a very unique flavor. The pita bread was also great and complimented nicely with hummus. The flavoring of the meat soaked into the basmati rice and gave it a distinct flavor; though I did not finish my rice in the restaurant so I took it home. It is worth noting that both the salad and skewer featured lemon and tomato, two vegetables I don’t typically eat (and am adverse to) but the cooking made them delicious. I had a piece of chicken from my mother’s grilled chicken kebab and I can say that it is also perfect, straddling that balance between crisp and tender.
The owner of the restaurant is genuinely passionate about the food he serves and is willing to have a conversation with you about flavor and taste, as well as recommend certain things based on what you tell him. We spent a good while after eating just talking to him.
Olipita Grill is a restaurant that needs way more attention than it gets. It’s not every day that you manage to find a restaurant of this quality with a staff as passionate about the food as they are. I give it 5 stars and recommend it as a MUST EAT if you’re in the...

We were not disappointed.
She suggested with try the Hummus appetizer. We tried it with the Gyro meat option. It is Tony the Tiger "GRRRRRREAT!!!!" You must try it. I think it is one of those items that if you go to a restaurant you always order it once you try it. The gyro meat is super tender and melts in your mouth.
I ordered the Gyro sub with fries. (4 stars)
My wife ordered the Gyro on pita with fries. (4 stars)
My oldest daughter ordered the Steakburger with cheese and fries. (3 stars)
My youngest daughter ordered the Falafel burger with fries. (1 star) She did not like the falafel but she loved the gyro meat.
Great customer service and friendly staff.
Check out their pics on Instagram. I want to try the following items (Greek salad, Beef Kofta Kabab, Meat Pie, & Znoud Al Sitt) Updated review.
Here we go again.
3rd visit to Olipita.
This time we got 3 Gyro Baked Potatoes, a Philly Cheesesteak, & the Chocolate Truffles.
Everything was beyond excellent. Check this place out. The potatoes are fantastic, marvelous, oustanding, off the chain, off the hook, slap yo...
Read moreI got the falafel platter which was so flavorful. I paired it with the garlic sauce and hummus. LOVE the garlic sauce and is a must have in any of these dishes. My boyfriend got the tilapia platter which was also very good he said. The tilapia is blackened and so moist. We ordered the grape leaves which were decent, I really liked the taste of the sauce. The baklava was good but not the best I’ve had. The Znoud Al Sitt was nothing like I’ve had and would order that again in a heartbeat, the syrup is amazing! My boyfriend wishes the pita came as a whole pita and not cut in little triangles which I beg to differ because I preferred them cut like that. Makes the pita easier to dip. We also bought the olive salad but did not get a chance to eat it.
The service and food is hands down amazing! Definitely a new favorite in the area. We just moved here and so far this is my favorite place to eat. The owner is super personable and very much a people person. You can tell he loves to watch people eat his food. Go eat at Olipita you won’t be...
