Michelle’s Dairy Freeze — Restaurant in Pleasant Township

I was passing through town and decided to stop at Michelle’s Dairy Freeze to get something to eat, as the diner in town had already closed for the day. I ordered a burger and onion rings. The burger was dripping with grease and had a very unusual flavor that I cannot describe. The onion rings were over saturated and had more batter than onion, making them very mushy.

After reading other less-than-stellar reviews, I quickly noticed a trend of the owner preferring to invalidate customers’ concerns rather than taking them into consideration.

Edit: After leaving this review I noticed that the responses to customers’ reviews, including my own, took a much more positive tone, and the more aggressive responses have been removed. I believe this says a lot about the ownership and demonstrates a clear desire to improve their business. Yes, there are some people who are just out to get you and say nasty, untrue things about your business. However, I have learned over the years that the majority of customers who leave critical reviews do so because they care enough to want to help you get better. Stopped at this place after visiting deer creek. We were starving after a long day. I truly hate to leave a bad review but it is needed to warn others before they waste their money. We got a hamburger and shredded chicken sandwich with fries and drinks. It was hard to continue to eat it all it was so bad. I mean how hard is it to make a simple meal? I can't speak for the ice cream but our meal was horrible. It's sad because we were hoping for a better meal for the price we paid.. next time we will just go to tonys coney instead. Edit... Now the owner wants to come at me for leaving my honest opinion of their food. Wow, nice customer service. I was just warning others that the food we got tasted bad. This was my first stop at this place and unfortunately will probably be my last. The girl that took my order was not very friendly. I told her it was my first visit and she just looked at me, not even a smile. I had to take a few minutes to see what they had and I felt rushed. Just ordered a coney, sundae and drink to get out of there. If you can believe it the ice cream tastes awful. A really strange taste, it was hard to figure out what was wrong. Coney was kind of cold and the sauce didn't taste good either. I don't like the drinks they carry but wanted something. Almost $7 for something I had to get rid of....
