Fried mushrooms- $4.75 for 6 -watery and gross Double bacon cheeseburger- $11.25 does not come with fries, forgot the bacon, patties were frozen type and over cooked and dry 2 crocks French onion soup- $11.00, came in half filled coffee cups cold 1 slice strawberry cheesecake- $5.75 frozen Sara Lee Side order of fries- free due to them forgetting them, frozen bag fries with no salt Total $34.72 We hadn’t eaten here in quite some time and took a chance, ordering out, in hopes positive changes had been made. We ordered 2 crocks of French onion soup, a double cheese burger, fries, mushrooms, and a slice of cheese cake. Upon ordering, we were told the order would be ready in 15 minutes. We arrived 30 minutes later to get the order and we were informed it wasn’t ready yet. A quick look in the bag showed they hadn’t included the fries that were ordered. They did produce them after we pointed out they were missing. Arriving home and digging into the bag we realized the bacon cheeseburger didn’t have bacon. No condiments were on the burger with the lousy patties of freezer meat. The “crocks” of French onion soup were cold in to-go coffee cups. Everything was clearly frozen......including the cheesecake which STILL WAS. Nothing tasted fresh or homemade or could have been mistaken as such. The French onion soup was mostly chunks of bread. Second chance at the log cabin was their last chance. $35 went straight into...
Read moreI am but a mere thirteen year old living about my casual life. On a trip back to Erie pa with my mother’s mother, otherwise known as grandma, we stopped by this restaurant. I was greeted by a nice women, I’ll call her Pretina. So Pretina gave us menus and I got quick to looking for the best options (I’m quite fat). I chose a club sandwich, soup, and most importantly… a stawberry milkshake. This shake changed my life. You’re probably thinking,” oh it’s just one of those milkshakes that taste like syrup from a rain gutter and lactose intolerance.” Why… NO! This milkshake was made by Pretina and she imbued her soul into it. I tasted it and was overwhelmed with milk from the dairy farms of Alaska, strawberries from Guatemala, ice from Antarctica, and a faint hint of dust from space. Better yet, it came in a giant mug that your brawny grandpa would drink from. A giant glass with a handle definitely used for beer. I felt like a man while drinking my shake. There was fresh strawberry bits floating throughout it adding to the splendor. To top it all off, it took Pretina about 2 minutes and 34 seconds to create something the queen of England would eat if she was still alive. I am writing this at the restaurant, so I didn’t have the sandwich and soup yet. It is most likely that they will match the milkshake. I recommend to English monarchs, the pope, my grandpa, and the...
Read moreI have never rated or filled out any reviews on a resturant before. I must do so this time. I have been to the Log Cabin Restaurant 3 times. The first time was amazing. I had the Roast Turkey and stuffing. It was wonderful! All white meat stuffing gravy mashed potatoes. Just like Thanksgiving at home. Our first time their the service was wonderful server was friendly. However, we have been there twice since. The two different servers we had were on the second/third visits were younger, extremely rude. I cannot express how truly awful there attitudes were from the start. I attempted to order the turkey (no longer able to order just the white meat), so I ordered stuffed pork chop special. I was told that it was not available until after 4 pm. Not true the table next to me was eating the stuffed pork chop. Plus the menu said it was available at noon. So then I ordered the hot meat loaf sandwich. The server then told me they were out of meat loaf. Coincidence I think not. 🤔. I will never go back. We ended up leaving without eating. Save yourself the aggragation do...
