If you want to enjoy a cigarette and beer with your Cheesesteak in the Plymouth Meeting area, New Valley Tavern is the place for you. I knew they allow smoking so I prepared myself for a lot of smoke. When I walked in I thought ‘it's not too bad’ but when I got back in my car I could smell the smoke on myself. Wood paneling and a cigarette machine. Good cheesesteak. The meat is the weak link. I got the valley steak, it comes with fried onions, mushrooms and peppers. The extras are cut in big chunks and they add a lot of flavor to the cheesesteak. Very good amount of cheese and is melted through everything perfectly. $8.25 for the cheesesteak and $3 for a draft, you know I like that. It was on the small side and I was able to eat the whole thing. I was prepared for the smoke so overall it was a very good experience.

I'm not a smoker so it was a disappoint right away. Once we sat down, we finally decided on margaritas. They were majority sours and minimal alcohol. I tried to drink it but after an hour I just pushed it toward the bar and intended to ask for a ginger ale. When I saw the bartender talk to the bar manager a meter away obviously about me- since I asked for a mojito before the margarita. Shortly after, the very kind bar manager asked about my drink and I told him my honest opinion. He offered a new drink or a refund and I declined both. I won't be back. Great dive bar for...

Homeless man inherits some money and barmaids take advantage of him unethically accepting large tips when man is visibly mentally disturbed as stated by other patrons as obviously.

The homeless man thinks he is funding a business he runs from the stool And had text communication with barmaids personal cell phones. I have pics of texts.

So either by incoherent ramblings they know he is disturbed and taking advantage of him, or homeless man is running a business worth leaving $600 and $1000 tips.

Also homeless man complained barmaids...
