Kevin's Club House Restaurant — Restaurant in Plymouth

I’m so upset I decided to stop in for a “quick” bite to eat... I was there for over an hour! I firstOrdered a coffee so the waitress filled my mug and as I looked for creamer on the table there was none so when the waitress came back to take my order I asked for cream and she turned around and took Someone’s left over creamer off of their dirty table not only was it someone else’s left over but it was not cream it was milk! So I then asked her if their hash was homemade or canned she told me it was homemade so I got the hash Benny and I ordered a side of the Texas style French toast when my food came out I noticed that the hash was canned hash and the Texas style French toast was just Texas style toast toasted in the toaster and she told me that’s how their Texas style French toast is just put syrup on it and it will be good no it was literally just toast with butter and syrup! Nothing French about it! Not dipped in eggs or fried! Just toast with butter! They did take back the hash Benny and made me a regular eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon but still the only thing she took off the bill was the coffee?! Holly was our friendly and attentive waitress when I visited this restaurant for the first time with my dad the other day. Things oftentimes get heated when my dad and I discuss things, and Holly was very good at giving us the space we needed when we needed it without sacrificing the proper amount of attention and service. 😉👍🏼 The food at Kevin's was surprisingly good, especially for the fact that I hadn't heard that before! I built my own omelet with jalapeños, feta, and onions. The home fries on the side were among the very best I've ever has! And Holly kept our coffee ☕️ filled to the brim! I would have preferred the outdoor seating, but my dad doesn't really like sitting in the sun, so we ate indoors where I wasn't super-crazy about our spot only because it's such a quiet restaurant, and my dad gets angry with me and doesn't realize how loud he speaks when that happens. I would definitely return to Kevin's fit a quiet, relaxing, very reasonably-priced meal. Next time with my wife, so there won't be any heated...

Both times we've been there it's been very slow (apparently a known problem: the menus have "Please be patient" printed on them). Today, there was one party ahead of us, waiting, with three empty tables. Took staff ten minutes to even come over to try to seat us. Food (breakfast: pancakes, omelettes) took ~40 minutes to arrive. Trying to pay the bill -- took them about seven minutes to even take the card once we asked for the bill, then minutes later they came back -- they'd lost the bill and so we had to tell them again what we ordered so they could bill us.

Moreover, there are TVs in the restaurant playing whatever is on basic TV during your meal. Not a great place to bring a family given the shows they had on while we were there was an analysis of a murder case (including scene from the trial of the defendant admitting he struck the victim and then beat her, with friends of the victim crying) and then a crime drama that had a scene of a young victim's face...
