I would give this place more of a 4.5 instead of 5. The food was really good! Home cooked food and I loved the atmosphere. I prefer this over fancy any day! Sweet little waitress there who was very polite and apologetic that they were a bit slow. It took quite a while to get our food which we aren't sure why. While it too along time, I'd prefer that to just giving us some mess that's microwaved and old. I feel like it was cooked fresh to order. It's a small place. They don't wear masks which is the main reason we chose to go there. I ordered the hamburger steak and ordered onions, peppers and mushrooms to go on it. Cooked perfectly! Not greasy! Also people in our party ordered cheeseburgers, lasagna and pork chops. All which were good. I really wanted to order the breakfast and next time we pass through going to the OBX we will stop in and I...

When I first sat down, it was only one other couple in here. We came in at the same time with that couple. That couple got waited on, served their breakfast and ate, left before we ever got waited on. It took the waitress over 20+ minutes before she ever acknowledged we were there. After the couple left she started talking trash about how nasty /messy they were. That's not a good thing to hear from wait staff. The food was very good for the price. This is a 1 time experience and I won't be coming back. I went to Pay and the waitress was complaining about how she normally doesn't work weekends and it was too busy for her. Sounds like she doesn't need to be here. My 1 and only visit. Won't be back. This is definitely a home...

Like hugs from grandma, “Stella‘s” gave us all the warm and loving feelings that you would get when visiting grandma‘s house. During a road trip with 12 women, we decided to stop in Plymouth for breakfast. Stella‘s exceeded all of our expectations for a hearty meal by not only accommodating our large group on short notice, but also offering the friendliest welcome, great service, amazing and delicious food, and even a short visit from Miss Stella herself! Some of our favorites from the menu were the cinnamon buns, the french toast, and the omelettes. Absolutely everything was delicious, and very reasonably priced! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about Stella‘s and highly...

Love this place and would go out of our way next time we are in the area! Stopped in to this restaurant on our travels going through town. We had breakfast around 11 am. It’s a small diner with home made food and all the small town charm you want when away from home. Food was fabulous and so was the conversations with the owner (Kay) and locals. If you are not looking for a place with welcoming arms… pass on by! The owner has the best personality, politeness and great southern hospitality you cherish when traveling from town to town.

We were just traveling through the area (visiting from Palm Springs California) and found Stella’s Cafe! We love having breakfast out and this was perfect in every way! We had the bacon, eggs, toast and pancakes. All of it was delicious! The owners were super friendly and very kind! Made you feel like family! God bless and Thank you! (From your aunts look-a-like 🙂) Perfect location for a beautiful river walk after you eat! Enjoy!

Ate breakfast with my 97 year old father-in-law. He had pancakes and crisp delicious bacon while I had the eggs grits and more of the delicious bacon. Seems like new owners since January and they really know how make you feel welcome. My father-in-law is a Marine and came in to a bunch of retired Marines eating breakfast too. You have to try it if you’re in the area.
