Simple Simon's Pizza — Restaurant in Pocola

We called in an order for a large pepperoni pizza & alpine sticks. Let me start by saying the girl who rang up our order was really nice & the place looked super clean. We hadn’t been here in years & remember the food being great, but something was off today. The Alpine Sticks were dry with barely any cheese & no alpine sauce & the pizza wasn’t very good at all. We remember the alpine sticks being saucy & cheesy and the best in the area but they were hard & dry. The ranch dressing is still awesome. Overall, the only good thing about the food was the ranch dressing. Simple Simon's in Pocola is now the only pizza parlor that I will eat at. I don't know how or where the people from our little bitty country town learned to make Italian food so well but I know that I love these people and all of the food that the produce in that little building. I know people who refuse to give anything in Pocola a chance because we're so small and we don't have big corporate restaurants to choose from in this town but this is one of the only 2 restaurants that I know serves outstanding food in this town and I've bought pizza from Simple Simon's to feed them and they were amazed at how much better this pizza tastes compared to Pizza...

I was enjoying Thursday night karaoke at the Frozen Oasis in the same center as Simple Simon's Pizza and I was getting hungry, so I ordered a pizza to eat while we were singing. (Frozen Oasis allowed us to bring it in.) I'm glad I did. I have eaten at four other Simple Simon's locations over the years and this one is the best of them.
