Drive down highway 13 in Virginia’s Eastern Shore we ran across a Vietnamese Restaurant. One of our group was a lady from Vietnam so we stop for dinner. Not expecting much in this remote spot we were really surprised at the delicious food. The place is run by a very nice family from Vietnam grandma and husband cooking and mom of to grade school age girls serving. The food was fantastic: We all had Pho a soup dish consisting of broth, rice noodles (bánh phở), herbs, and meat – usually beef (phở bò), and sometimes chicken (phở gà). It is a popular food in Vietnam where it is served in households, street-stalls, and restaurants nationwide. Residents of the city of Nam Định were the first to create Vietnamese traditional phở. It is considered Vietnam's national dish. We started with their amazingly delicious Vietnamese beef salad, known as gỏi bò, combines tender beef with fresh vegetables and herbs, all tied together with a zesty dressing. This salad balances sweet, salty, sour, and spicy flavors. Key oh so good. What a wonderful way to start out to view the ponies made famous by the book Misty.

Great little Vietnamese/Asian restaurant right on Ocean Highway just south of the merge point of 13 and 113 in Pocomoke City. We both got the Pho, but the menu is loaded with other asian standards such as Pad Thai, Lo Mein, Thai Fried Rice, and Udon noodles. The Pho was delicious! We both had the Tofu veggie Pho as we had been eating way too much meat recently. The Tofu was firm and cooked perfectly and the vegetables were fresh. The staff (I assume it is family owned), was welcoming and the place itself was clean and inviting. I highly recommend the Pho and I can't wait to go back and try some of the other dishes.

Tonight was their opening night. The place is nice and clean. Very friendly staff and amazing food. It is Vietnamese based food selected from there ample menu. My favorite is Pho and is extremely good. It is one of the best I have ever eaten and I have been to many places tasting Pho. My wife had E4-House Special fried rice with chicken. She really loved it. For apps I had A6- Fresh Shrimp rolls wrapped in rice paper, lettuce, basil, & vermicelli served with peanut sauce. My wife had A9 - Vietnamese Egg Rolls with Fish Sauce. Serving size was plentiful and hot when it came. This will be a favorite for us.
