The Café — Restaurant in Point Arena

The building and view are phenomenal. However, none of the interactions I had with any of the staff were friendly at all. I was asked to leave a section that apparently was closed, even though other people sitting there were not asked to leave. There really wasn't any clear indication of where it was okay to sit and the staff member who asked me to leave was not particularly kind about it. The coffee was okay. They didn't offer for-here cups and it was served too hot (I burned my tongue on my latte even after waiting for it to cool). The baristas could probably use more training, especially considering the price. Even though the location is beautiful, I definitely wouldn't be...

Holy smokes, what a fantastic café! We stumbled upon this place by accident, and how glad we were to have found such a special café. I mean the sceanry is to die for, the interior design is beautiful (Scandinavian minimalism), but not to mention the cortado is some of the best I have ever had. Go go go! And book a night at their spectacular hotel as it is now open...

This is such a gem of a place!! It truly feels like an oasis, I an escape, and a place full of peace. The coffee I had was great, and they have a lounge, deck, huge restaurant/sitting area. gift shop, and a place to take walk along the water!! Truly beautiful, I only wish I could stay...
