We were pretty excited that a new place was opening up. Read some of the reviews and decided to try for ourselves. When we got there, we were seated promptly and the waitress took our drink order. Good. Came pretty fast. Next they took our order - pretty simple - bacon cheeseburgers with fries. We had read some reviews of the food taking a bit long to come, so we timed it. One hour in, people that came in after us, were already finished eating. No food. The waitress must have realized at this point that we didn't get our food and told us she would go rush it. As we were getting ready to leave 15 minutes later- low and behold - out comes the food. Great. Lets just enjoy our meal, right? Looked pretty good. Actually, the burger was good. The bacon, however, was so undercooked- it was a blob of fat, stringy grossness. Okay. Waitress said at this point - you can get 2 desserts of your choice. Just walk on over to the display case and pick your desserts and so we did. Go back to our seats and, still trying to shake it off when I heard a sound coming from behind me and I knew it wasn't right. A lovely couple behind us. The poor lady was choking. I jumped up and let her husband get to her and just when I was thinking we were going to have to perform the Heimlich maneuver, up and out came a long, stringy piece of undercooked bacon. Never again. I now know I am done with this place. The whole time, the commotion of it- not one member of staff came over. When the waitress came over finally, we 4 ( we now felt bonded to these folks) told her what happened. She got them to go boxes to take their food home. Really? How about you dont charge these folks? Listen, you can make your own decision here, but- trust me - I won't walk in that...

I visited Kresgeville Eatery and Bar recently, and my experience was a mixed bag, so here’s the brutal truth. Right off the bat, the service was slow to start. Our waitress didn’t come to take our drink order for a solid 10 minutes, which felt like an eternity, especially since the place wasn’t even busy. I’d read reviews beforehand mentioning slow service, and it seems they haven’t quite figured that out yet.
On the plus side, once we got the ball rolling, the food came out surprisingly fast—within 5 minutes of ordering, which was a relief. The waitress also redeemed herself by checking on us multiple times after the initial delay, so I’ll give her credit for the effort to make things right.
Now, the food itself? It was decent, nothing to write home about. It arrived lukewarm, which was disappointing, but it wasn’t cold or inedible. For the price, it was fair—nothing extraordinary, but it got the job done. The flavors were fine, but it’s the kind of meal you forget about an hour later.
Overall, Kresgeville Eatery and Bar is a 3.5-star spot in my book. It’s not a disaster, but they need to tighten up the service and maybe crank up the kitchen heat to get those dishes out hot. I’d probably come back if I was in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of...
Read moreAbout two to three days ago i decide to go and give it a try with my husband. The lady that greeted and gave us a table did not smile once, had a horrific attitude, and was cursing at her coworkers….She had blonde hair and an earring in her nose. A few minutes after that it got very hectic in there and we were sat in a very tight area in the back which was extremely loud and unpleasant it made my husband and I super uncomfortable. Then my husband’s food ended up coming out wrong. we made sure to let our waitress know we wanted shrimp on top of the meal and they completely disregarded that request. Although that mistake happened we really enjoyed our server and all she did for us I recommend getting a new young lady at the front. She gave us a very bad taste of what is supposed to be a...
