River Roasters Coffee Company — Restaurant in Pomeroy

(Updated) My original review was from about a year ago! I really didn’t get a chance to experience River Roasters on my first visit.

After visiting the 2nd time and many more times, the wife and I really enjoy coming in and getting our Coffee/tea. They also have great food!

This coffee shop is located on Main St in Pomeroy Ohio, and if your looking to visit a one of a kind, unique Coffee shop then this is the place to come to. The staff is very friendly and courteous.

I upgraded them from 4 stars to 5.

Oh MY GOSH! I have lived all over the world and spent decades in the coffee mecca of Seattle and River Roasters, is my all-time favorite coffee shop! To have delicious coffee, in an aesthetically pleasing space with the kindest and attentive staff, in our sweet little Appalachian town is the greatest gift! When I first visited, I was greeted by the owners with the most warm, enthusiastic welcome and have, ever since, felt like part of the RivRo family! Not only do I bring every out-of-town guest here for a delicious lunch, but I also spend hours sipping a different drink from the seasonal menu, while doing computer work. I tried this coffee shop recently, and unfortunately, the coffee was not very good. I left my original one-star rating a few days after my visit based on that experience. Since then, I’ve learned that the owner has been personally reaching out to people I know stalking their social media and reaching out trying to find as much information about me as possible just because I left them an honest 1 star rating, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I feel bad having to leave this kind of review but I have zero choice!
