I came here thinking it was going to be good with a 4.5 star rating but was not impressed. I feel like this place was very overrated..
I came in and stood there.. No one helped me nor told me where to sit. I watched two girls behind the counter talk and talk as I stood there.. seen me, and kept talking amoungst themselves. I finally grabbed two menus off of the table and found a seat.
We ordered, the fries were bland. Chicken strips had little to no meat, lots of hard breading. My boyfriend threw up the fried shrimp poboy a couple hours later.
No check up after we got our food, no refills. (Was not busy) Not to mention, I kept seeing the cooks and I guess Servers eating bits and pieces of food off of plates as they went out. A French fry here.. piece of shrimp there.
We never received our bill we just stood up and walked to the register and a girl with a chicken strip in her hand with ketchup dripping down it was checking us out. We paid and left. Will never return again!!
If you are not a regular and have never been to this place I do not...

A hour and half later he got his poboy then after 10 minutes I got my crawfish and went to grab one and it was cold not once did the waitress say I will be served cold/chilled crawfish and I was supposed to get fries I think with the dinner but never got them I said something about them being cold she took my tray and brought it to the back. The only thing good was the onion rings they was hot juicy huge and had great taste. But I coult of had just a bad day we are all intitled to one bad day. But great atmosphere staff was excellent drinks never ran out and if needed something...
Read moreupdate June 2024-- Dana at the bar is great! Relaxed, cool, accommodating. Catfish and tartar sauce is still deliciousCozy relaxed atmosphere. A Middendorfs aesthetic. Cypress trees and alligator skin on wall along with two giant snapping turtle shells. I sat myself and waitress brought menus. Friendly staff. The table was bussed promptly after each course. Fried catfish was delicious. Crispy texture! House made tartar sauce was tasty as well. Hot sauce was on table. A roll of paper towels are also on each table in place of napkins. I didn't use the restroom so I can not judge cleanliness. The rest of the restaurant was clean however. No bugs. After eating I left the tip on the table. The waitress brought me my ticket and you bring it to the register to pay at your leisure. My first experience was great. The woman owner came out, greeted us, and checked on us. I was very pleased. I had a craving for fried catfish and was not...
