Greazy Steve's — Restaurant in Pond Creek

I have been to Stevie's twice recently and I WON'T be going back. First experience, I placed a to go order, mind u I live 15 miles away, I ordered a chicken fried steak dinner, get home and get a DRY chicken fried steak...NO GRAVY....didn't get an option if I wanted it or not, guess that's my fault for NOT asking and assuming chicken fried steak comes with gravy, but guess NOT at this restaurant, very disappointing and wasn't driving back 15 miles to correct it. NEXT visit my family and I decided to dine in this time, I got a chicken salad,it was pretty good, but also ordered A SIDE of mushrooms and A SIDE of onion petals, showed the waitress from the SIDES menu which were around $4.00, she (waitress) said "Do you want them as an appetizer? I said "No, not necessarily. So the "sides came out WITH our meal which was fine, but when it was time to pay our ticket, the waitress charged me for APPETIZERS, which are bout $10 each instead of the sideprice of $4. I went to get it corrected, terrible customer service, the waitress got loud with me and said " I ASKED you if u wanted them as appetizers!!! I said " No, not necessarily and they even acknowledged itdidn't come out as an appetizer, but tried to price gage me and charged me an extra $12. It wasn't right and plus drew EVERYONE'S attention in the restaurant as it was a Friday night crowd, then the managers wife who was also extremely RUDE, said u will have to wait (to have it corrected),so I stood there for at least 10 min while be stared at by other people in the restaurant ( small town, nosey people) as they had to ask the manager what to do, he told them to take off 1 appetizer (I said side) Anyways I was still charged $10 for one when each should of been $4. Never an apology, just RUDE customer service. Food is pretty good that's why I gave it 2 stars on food, but DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT for me to do business with them AGAIN. So, if u do decide to eat there, BE AWARE of being Overcharged on your ticket and if u say something be prepared to have terrible customer service, arguments, and embarrassment just to get...

I came here for something different for lunch, besides the gas station by my jobsites.

I ordered an appetizer of mountain oysters and for lunch I got a Philly cheese steak sandwich with fried okra.

The appetizer was ok, pretty crispy so maybe slightly over cooked then I'm use to, but still good. The Philly cheese was...it was a sandwich that served it's purpose. I wouldn't say much more than that. The okra was good.

It was something good that was different than the gas station food I'm use to in this area. Will I go back? If someone wants me to go with them, but I'll order something different, the burgers looked good from what I seen people...

I ate two meals hear, one was the bull thingies which are very hard to find these days. They were absolutely amazing. The staff were very nice and helpful after being bombarded with their supper rush. My second meal was the next night, and I choose the ribeye. It was cooked perfectly and so was the baked potato, has great flavor and was a very large meal. Then they brought out homemade cherry cheesecake which I thought looked just like my mother’s. Even though I was stuffed I had to have some. OMG it was my moms recipe. Great people, great food, and somewhere I will stop at again....
