I GIVE MICK'S 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟's. Nothings perfect but, Mick his waitresses, cooks, food are all 99%. You never find dirty dishes or tables and you never have to ask for a refill on your coffee and mick is up early every morning grinding the beans. Mick's really does grind their own. They are only ground at time they are needed, not ground in advance. It is one of the best diners ive eaten at and ive eaten in diners in 28 states and 11 countries. Read moreFelt a bit chilly... I wouldn't have minded having the heat up just a couple of degrees. The food was delicious. I had the Reuben sandwich and hubby had the chicken-fried steak. Way more food than I could eat, but the chicken-fried steak disappeared entirely! 😊 Hubby asked for cole slaw, but they were out, so substituted applesauce. Fairly fast service and the waitress was very personable. We both had fries that were perfectly crispy and hot. We'll probably eat lunch here tomorrow, since we're in town for another night and it's within walking distance of the hotel...
Read moreWhen a fellow traveler staying at the same hotel in Potter County told me there was a diner nearby that served stuffed French toast, I knew I had to go there. I am glad I did. This diner's French toast is stuffed with cream cheese mixed with maple syrup. Sounds too sweet? It's not. I don't care for a lot of sweet and this was just fine. My fellow diner got creamed beef on toast (S. O. S) and declared it good.
