J&J Wings and Seafood — Restaurant in Port Arthur

If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter called this location to place an order and was quoted $49.99 for a family 50 piece chicken. I heard the quote on speaker phone. Upon arrival the lady at the register tells my daughter it’s $72.99. My daughter look at the screen and tell her the price say $49.99. The lady told her she apologize but the price has changed and proceeds to change the price on the screen in front of her. My daughter end up paying the $72.99. My daughter didn’t tell me until later so I went to the location because the price quoted and originally on the screen is what should have been charged. The man in there tells me no he never said $49.99 and you have to call Google to change the price on the screen like I believed that lie. Once my daughter told him how the girl changed it he didn’t say anything else about the price change. This same situation happened to me at the Katy location and the man honored what was on his screen. After today I will never spend another penny at J&J and have been going to J&J for over 15 years. It’s the principle of the situation and the customer service! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! Your price may change when you get there. There are other place that sale food...

Went here about 4 times in the past month and a half. Food has been pretty good. Tried some newer menu items. First off you got to try the salt and pepper chicken sandwich it's pretty good. Salt and pepper crab cakes were very delicious and filling for the price. Only new item I ordered that needs improvement was the salt and pepper stuffed shrimp. Presentation was good, size was right, but it was raw on the inside.....bad business here. No way of knowing until after I was home. I will say it is possible it was raw because my order was written down incorrectly. They cooked regular shrimp not stuffed SMH so the tried to hurry and correct the order. Think it was rushed so they did not cook thoroughly. It's understandable but not excused to send out raw seafood. I will try it again to see if it is cooked all the way. Service was awesome, everybody was nice and cordial. She quoted our meals being ready in 8 minutes and they were together in about 15 but it was still pretty quick. Unfortunately though, the food quality was very bad! Nothing was nasty, but nothing was tasty either. The fried chicken wings were fried too hard with the very crispy crust they use. I ordered fried rice with my meal, expecting at least eggs and vegetables understanding that shrimp fried rice may be an additional charge. The rice that I was served was basically white rice mixed with soy sauce. Between two plates there were less than 20 vegetables or egg!! We ordered three meals, two with rice and one with fries. The fries were hot and slightly seasoned but still firm on the inside. Overall on a five-point scale JJ's on a low two on this visit.
