Plat 1 Public House — Restaurant in Port Huron

Went there with friends a couple weeks ago. Food was excellent and our bartender was amazing when we sat at the bar. The only reason why I give this place a 2 star is cause they don't have enough staff. I did feel bad for our bartender cause he was short handed and looked overworked. He obviously didn't have help when the bar ran out of stuff and had to run to get more stuff himself and left the bar unattended then other staff was constantly asking things from him. However he did let his customers know that he was busy and came back to check on us constantly with a smile and a friendly face. Living right down the street i was excited to see the place open. All new business has a little learning curve, so I've withheld until now. The food is more bistro style than pub. Good menu, excellent quality. The wine list is short but a bottle of everyday wine is only $23, better than the $7 for french fries, but I don't love fries anyway. Service is getting better and the kitchen is quick. Niche businesses have to find their clientele and I think they will. They're a little upscale for the area but will likely draw from surrounding areas. We're heading south next week but looking forward to one more visit and hopefully they'll still be open in...

I was really looking forward to eating here. I the drinks was really good. But I showed up at 830. Ordered a drink and then wanted to order food at ar 845pm the bartender told me no!! The kitchen close at 9 amd that I couldn't order food. I was looking forward to the food here. But the bartender was kinda short with me. Yes ill give it another try but was not impressed with the the sever tonight. Im sorry I'll still come back for a drink but if you say your open. Till. 11 or 12 thats fine.
