PJ's Stop 47 — Restaurant in Port Jefferson

We happened upon this spot and couldn't have had a better experience. Its a very unassuming place from outside. You walk into the bar area, with a dining room to the left. Our server was great with suggestions and answered our questions easily. The corn nuggets were tasty. But can I tell you about the tenderloin sandwich? We got both styles - grilled and fried. Both phenomenal. Most tenderloin sandwiches are usually big. These were HUGE. But also thick. These were not something they just plucked out of the freezer. These had to have been hand cut and breaded. Sooo good. I'm told the wings were good as well. AND they had a pinball machine, a LED ZEPPELIN pinball machine. Yep, I let it take some of my money. I love the all sauce wings and boneless wings. They lack any real kind of soft drinks unless you like canned pop and then it’s hit or miss if they have any. No internet so count that out. Pizza is ok but the rest is just bar food. Do not drink the water, it is terrible. When they get busy, the kitchen slows down to a crawl. Could be a diamond in the rough if this place could...

If you stop here definitely get their Tenderloin sandwich that's smothered in Swiss, onions, and mushrooms. Hands down the best I've had. Big serving also. I'll be eating it for dinner too.
