Brig & Brew — Restaurant in Port Royal

Spent one hour twenty minutes waiting for our food, fries and wings, and kept getting told it was on its way, plenty of uniformed marines were served after we arrived, another parent experienced the same issue, very unorganized behind the bar, and we never got our food. Our newly graduated Marines had to return to duty without any food which really spoiled our experience of watching our loved ones graduate. The soda we did get was expensive and flat, which was due to be changed, but we never got that either. The air hockey table wasn’t working, but the pool table and table tennis was. This is a great place to relax and spend Some time with fellow marines and visitors. The menu is limited but good so if you are looking for a 5 star restaurant this is not the place. The brig also has a wide variety of drink specials but they cannot carry everything for everybody. Also patience is required because sometimes it can get extremely busy but the staff will always serve you with a smile. Overall you will enjoy your experience...

The beer is always cold, and the food is pretty good. But between the overbearing music, and the forgetful bartender, I don't recommend going to this bar. It's convenient for the barracks Marines to walk down for a beer, but there are far better locations for those who aren't barracks Marines.
