Award-winning bartender Sam Ross created the Paper Plane cocktail in 2007 for The Violet Hour bar in Chicago. The drink was a favor for former colleague Toby Maloney, who wanted a summer drink for his bar. Ross intended the Paper Plane to be a modern take on the Last Word, a pre-Prohibition gin cocktail with a similar citrus and liqueur ratio. The Paper Plane is made with equal parts bourbon, lemon juice, and Amaro Nonino. #TheMill #windmarkbeach #cocktails #ingulf #portstjoe #forgottencoast #mexicobeach #apalachicola #capesanblas #Paperplane #amarononino #basilhayden #freshlemon

This is a MUST to go. Patrick the owner is amazing and what he has done with the place is incredible. The drinks are the best drinks I have ever had. Made with passion and love! Even if you’re not staying near the Windmark but staying in Port St. Joe please go here. Great community gathering with a lot of great people. I can’t say enough about Patrick! What an incredible individual so talented so diverse and he makes you feel like Family right when you walk in the door. Thank you for making our time at the Windmark...

Found this little gem while in Pt St Joe for a family function. Popped in for a Bloody Mary and we were very pleased with both the fabulous well crafted drink and the friendly staff welcoming us in. Wish we could have come back later for the live music and festivities. Looks like a great place...
