Great little spot near the beach @ Fort Worden. Solid burger. Ordered online and it was ready in about 20 mins. Features a little patio and other goodies you can purchase for your Fort adventure. Worth the trip for the burger alone. Would love to see other items featured like a chicken Sammy or some other grab and go sandwich options. Recommend!!!

We are here off-season, so the place is understaffed and not able to accommodate us fully. However, when my grandson wanted mac and cheese, the proprietor opted to make some, just a little late for us. Great service. Expensive but we are in a state park with no inside tables, so be cautious if it is cold out.

I work as one of the main cooks here at the Canteen, I am committed to giving you the customer the best eating experience possible. Every burger is crafted with love and care, also I am doing my best to not add extra salt. All our sauces are fresh and home made, not that pre packed stuff most places use. Our fish tacos are my favorite personally, grilled fish on a crunchy corn tortilla, shredded cabbage, a pinch of onion our fresh salsa and in house taco sauce. We drive specifically to the cable house because it had a 4.5 star reviews of the restaurant. I wish I knew what the others ordered to warrant a rating that high. We ordered the 2 piece fish and chips 13.95, it came and was the WORST, SOGGY, BLAND Fish we have ever ordered. I MEAN IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! Look at my other postings and try one of those restaurants, stay clear...
