I was very excited for the opening of this new winery. Very nice atmosphere with eleven wine choices. The flight of five wine tastings was a nice deal for $10. I hate to be critical of a new winery but they seem to have planned a lot for marketing but need to work on the taste of their wine. Their customer service was awesome and felt very well taken care of the whole time I was guided through my wide selection of wines. Due to being on the outskirts of downtown Portales, cellular coverage is limit but they offer free wifi. The restrooms were vey clean and they had a decent selection of finger foods though nothing indicates they were organic or locally made in New Mexico. Overall I did feel their wines seemed slightly watered down and currently all their wine is made in Ruidoso with plans to make some grapes locally over the course of the next couple years. It is amazing that they are keeping it local to making wine in New Mexico and for the area it has sparked a lot of interested. They do offer a military discount which is never expected but greatly appreciated. I wish this winery the best as they mature into the potential for an awesome venue for bands, maybe later hours for the days they are open and even consider local New Mexico flavorful foods since they do offer a limited selection of New Mexico...

We ended up going and got a few looks from patrons but the staff were so friendly and welcoming. So folks with kids donāt let that stop you. It was truly such a treat. Beautiful vineyard matched by the hospitality of the...

They even offer beers on tap for those who may not like wine. Great snacky foods and amazing, friendly, attentive service. For what itās worth we lives in California for 3 years and visited many wineries in the Sonoma/Napa Valley and Paso Robles areas and this is one of my favorites. Highly...
