Norm's Place II — Restaurant in Portland

Friendly! wish I could give more stars, but my first time there, the pancakes were awesome, but the biscuits and gravy was way too peppery and there is no sausage in it it was just plan and the biscuits wasn't good. but one the place side FRIENDLY, GOOD PANCAKES AND SAUSAGES // 5/4/21,, it won't let me reply to your comment but I did ask if you had sausage to go with it after I got it the lady went back said no we have sausage links so I said okay and let you know I'm not just an outsider that's my hometown I grew up around there I'm 34 now and to be honest I never heard of norms until about 2 years ago I'm glad you been around for 21 years but there's no rest around that can say they have never had a bad comment now no I didn't say you had some good food just did not like the biscuits and gravy the gravy taste like the gravy you put on country fried steak and the desk has been taste that good either and I decided to go with the family there to try it out I thought about going back but it seems like you don't like people being honest that's the way it sounds so I...

On our last (and final visit) we were notified that the waitress (Who identified herself as Norm's daughter) had made a mistake on our last visit and didn't charge us enough on our check, so we paid for that visit and our visit today. If you can not do your job properly and fill out guest checks the first time, perhaps you should not be working in a restaurant. Perhaps if you had done this discreetly, and not embarrassed us in front of everyone in there due to YOUR mistake, maybe I would not have had to write this review.

I just ate lunch at Norm’s Place and enjoyed my meal very much! I had a tenderloin sandwich, Norm’s fries, and macaroni salad. My tenderloin and macaroni salad were both very yummy but the fries were my favorite! I got a lot of food for a good price, but the good deal is nothing compared to the amazing service. We were greeted by smiling faces and good conversation. Our food was quick to come out and our waitress was there to refill drinks and grab condiments before we even had to ask.
