Martha's Kitchen — Restaurant in Portola

I was very disappointed with the meal that I ordered. Carne asada did not taste as if it had been grilled. There is nothing wrong with the portion. It was just that the meat wasn't very tasty. My aunt ordered a cheese quesadilla and that did not look very interesting either. It seems really difficult to ruin a quesadilla but I wouldn't say it was the best example of one that I've seen. It was disappointing because I know she was looking forward to driving there.

I ate here for the first time this afternoon. Every aspect of my meal was really solid. I had a Chile Verde Burrito and I got Chicken Fajitas to go for my wife. Service was prompt and professional. They timed my to go meal with the conclusion of my meal at the bar which I appreciated. A full bar would be better than a beer and wine bar but considering the location that would be nitpicking! Ate dinner here 1st night we were staying at the Sierra Sky Lodge. Martha's is conveniently located about a quarter mile from the Lodge.
