Yummy food and friendly staff. It's upscale for Plumas county. Great date night. Dinner salad had veggies and all the dressings tasted homemade and were good. The Diablo fliet was cooked perfectly and melted like butter. The cobbler was perfectly sweet, not to much, and tasted the berries with every bite. Three people before tip, no drinks, was $155, so it's not cheap, but it's delicious for a special dinner out.

Unfortunately this place has become slightly out of hand with their prices for the window deck. $1000 for the window deck deposit? The deck is ancient and really isn’t worth it but apparently there are clowns willing to pay for it. Besides the outrageous requirements this place is delicious. Sometimes it’s hit and miss as I’ve been coming over the past 6 years due to keeping staff but see for your self.

I have grown up coming to this amazing place. I have watched it change hands, and each owner put their own touches on it. This season is hands down the best experience I've had. I shared it with family and friends; and it would be my top recommendation for somewhere special to go in the area. We can't wait to go back!

We have not made it in since the new owners, but so glad we finally did. My husband and I came in at 5:15. I cannot remember our servers name mostly because I was distracted by her smile. We sat at the table directly outside of the kitchen if that’s helpful at all. She was such a gem and was so positive. If she was flustered, you wouldn’t have known it. We started with the bruschetta duo, my husband was more of a fan than I am, but only because fancier type foods aren’t really my thing. I do miss the spinach artichoke dip though! My husband got the prime rib special and dubbed it as “the meal of the year.” I got the filet mignon, well done, and I have never had steak more tender or perfectly cooked in my life! We both had the au gratin potatoes which were deliciously homemade and for dessert he had the tuxedo chocolate cake while I opted for the mint ice cream in an almond crisp cup thing, absolutely phenomenal. My margarita was eh, that being said I prefer a sweeter one, and they are not shy with the alcohol which is not a bad thing for most people. Definitely recommend trying this before they close...

Been here many times in the past. Still wonderful service and atmosphere!! My second icetea never came. 👇

Generally speaking, the food was cooked to expectatio. Medium pepper steak and medium 16 oz ribeye with scampi lobster sauce. We ordered the sauce on the side. Really good idea!!!

Everything was very salty. Use caution if salt is a concern. The pepper steak, and sauce, was borderline to much. The ribeye, plain and alone, was over salted. The scampi lobster sauce was so salty it was inedible. Again, it was on the side so we could still eat the over salty steak!

New owners from the original owners. There has been other transitions.

Very nice place, highly recommended!!!

I hope the chef will see this. As a chef myself, you can always add more, you can't take away. And if your cooking taste leans towards the salty side... let someone else be the judge.

Thanks for a...

We have now eaten here for several years. They are always understaffed. Expect 45 minutes from the time you order to getting your food. Didn't see our server much but the young blond girl busser gave great service and attention. My wife's filet mignon was ordered as medium. It was dry and cool. Of course, it sat waiting to be served. I had the seafood pasta in a sherry cream sauce. Seafood was good but sauce was crap. It had no taste and reminded me of water with corn starch and a bit of flavor I cannot place! It is a go to in the area but actually is just a place to say you had dinner there. It probably had a good reputation over time but sadly, has faded. Go there to say you did, but find somewhere else if you want your...
