I had a rehearsal brunch at this facility in the sim room. The food and drinks were good, but they seemed unprepared for us and the service was very slow. The server we had was very short and rude with us. The coordinator Kate went MIA even after I asked for her 3+ times. Communication to book the room was also difficult. I had to triple or quadruple call and email before I got an answer. The layout of the tables was not thought out well. They had to move all the tables in order to use one sim screen for a short time toward the end of our event. There was room enough to set it up so everyone could eat and sit at their tables while others could play but it wasn't arranged in a way we could do that. They also had a very difficult time setting up the slideshow presentation I brought. It took probably an hour to figure it out. I risk giving away my fave place to breakfast. It's a golf club, under an international airport with every aircraft you are allowed to see as a civilian. This place does hashbrowns. Not from frozen and fried, but boiled, shredded, and crispy. Real hashbrowns. Of course you can have your new england home fries, crispy if you like. ... no one in Stratford county does the hashbrown. It's all home fries. Big soggy potato wedges. These folks do proper crispy shredded hashbrowns. Sometimes your poached egg will be a bit firm, but those browns will have you forgettin'. I want to start by saying our breakfast was comped because I spoke up, but here is my experience: Sunday brunch. We arrive around 11 am. Seated immediately, no waitress ever really showed up, and had to wave hands to get someone. Got beverages (coffee and juice) and placed order. 45 minutes later our food arrived. 45 minutes?!?! When asking a couple of times where the food was, we were told the kitchen was backed up as it's peak time for them, and all the orders came at once! HELLO! Don't you plan for this? So, 45 minutes later, food is delivered, meh tasting, nothing fabulous and not once was I asked for a refill on coffee, no check in once served- can I get you anything....nothing. Will never be back-appreciate being comped but just a lame excuse for service, food...
