Went here after a beach day with a few friends. I like that it is assembly style to build your own burrito, but that it is more localized than the big chain competitors. I ordered the birria tacos and the street corn in a cup while my bf and friends got the burritos. Portions were generous, but the ground beef was a little bit off and the salsa is milder than I am used too although there were only two heat options. It was also a little pricier than similar options (almost $50 for two people) The birria taco meat was so tender and delicious, but for me the street corn in a cup was decent, although I have certainly had better elsewhere. The restaurant is a bit small and looks like it primarily operates as a casual takeout establishment although they do have tables and barstools for sit in customers as well as tables and chairs outside. Overall, an okay place for Mexican cuisine in a pinch.

I ordered the birria tacos and a burrito. This review is going to focus on the tacos. The burrito was a good size, fair price, no complaints. The tacos left me feeling a bit mixed. The taco itself was great. There were a lot of juices in the container and the taco shell did not fall apart. The meat was tasty and the tacos were pretty filling. I would definitely order them again, with maybe some other toppings and i wouldnt bother with the consome. Although the meat and taco had a nice flavor, the consome was pretty flavorless. It didnt stand out from the flavor of the taco so it basically just made it wet for nothing. Again, im not saying they were bad. The tacos were good, definitely order them. Just maybe use other toppings or hot sauce instead of the consome.

Typically I pick up take-out from here. I have gotten outstanding birria tacos here (and sometimes soggy birria tacos) but when they are good and crispy, with the cheesy tortilla they are top notch. The consume is also more flavorful some times than other times, but I have recently tried the papusas and can’t say enough good things about them. They are very tasty and made fresh, the slaw has a nice acidity and the sauce is flavorful too. Tres leches is pretty awesome too. You have to give them a try, great food for a little place out in Portsmouth.

I ordered from here using DoorDash and when the food was delivered my order was not correct. I did not ask for guacamole or lettuce and it is visible on the receipt order that I did not request for those two items, yet my bowl had both. We also asked for cheese in our bowls (which was also visible on the receipt order) but neither of the bowls had cheese! Luckily, we do not live too far away, but we packed up our food and drove 10 minutes to the restaurant itself to get our order fixed. When we got there and took out our food and told the man behind the counter what was wrong, ALL HE DID WAS LOOK AT THE RECEIPT ORDER AND LOOKED AT THE BOWLS WITH THE PLASTIC STILL ON IT AND SAID "So, what's wrong with it?" Excuse me, I told you what's wrong with it and you didn't even inspect to see where you went wrong. So I had to verbally and physically point out to him what was wrong. His response was "so what do you want me to do?" HORRIBLE SERVICE AND ABSOLUTELY NO SYMPATHY OR APOLOGY. I had to ask him to remake our order and he wouldn't even give a discount or refund. Absolutely appalled by the service and lack of care or attention by the...

We came in from out of town relatively late for dinner and really didn't want traditional fast food. They were honestly the first place that showed up when I searched for food near me open now. The food was great! Much better than Chipotle or Moe's. I placed my order online through their website. We did end up with guacamole when it wasn't ordered, but it didn't really matter to me. We had steak bowls, rice, kids chicken quesadilla and kids ground beef tacos. The portions were much larger than expected. The food tastes fresh and not heavily processed. The quesadilla isn't what you traditionally find, it was more of a chicken taco with melted cheese. Maybe it was made wrong, who knows. It was still good. The ground beef tacos were not seasoned like an American taco, so don't expect that Taco Bell or Old El Paso flavor. There was visible onion and other spices in it. I would 100% give them my business again but maybe I would order in...
