Ordered hashbrowns with cheese and got French fries. Waitress appeared busy with friends or family. Would have been lower but another lady jumped in and bailed her out, bringing food, offering to remake plate and bringing drink refills. Gunderburger is awesome. Meat and cheese. Atmosphere was as expected from the name. Kind of expected the bill to reflect the wrong order but I was billed for the food I didn't order. The price was fair so I didn't complain. I don't think waitress would have cared anyway.

Went here while out visiting local grave sites. When we walked we were greeted with a cheerful greeting and was waited on right away. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with some memorabilia. The food was ok. I enjoyed the French fries. They asked me how I wanted my burger and I asked for it to be done and the waitress suggested medium rare which I agreed to but next time I go there I will get it a little more cooked but it was good. The cost for two people was very reasonable.

Not worth the drive. The hamburger isn’t anything special. The condiment bottles were greasy. Seriously the food is okay, just nothing great. The place looks clean for the most part, but the condition of the mustard and ketchup makes one suspect of the kitchen operations. We did enjoy the nice crispy fried mushroom appetizer which came to the table quickly. I won’t go back unless it was the only other dining option.

I’ve eaten here a number of times over the years and have always had a nice time. Food is delicious with reasonable prices. Last night, though, was different. My wife and I had a reservation for 6:00, got seated and it was roughly 20 minutes before a waitress came to our table for drink orders. We got our order in and waited...and waited...and waited. At 7:30 the owners wife came by and said we looked like we needed a dessert. The fact that we had been waiting an hour and a half for food, along with how she was talking with us made it seem like it was their way of acknowledging the long wait (most restaurants do the same thing). Finally, at 7:45 we got our food with an apology and explaination that we had gotten put in just after a group of 16. Ok, understandable, at least our desserts were going to be free. Ate our meal, which was delicious as always, and then get our bill. Got charged for the desserts. At this point we weren’t in the mood to argue it, so we just paid the $6.50 and moved on with our night. If we had been new customers that didn't know better, we would have left furious and never would have been back. Since we have been there before, we will probably be back. Hopefully it was just an off night. The waitresses seemed overwhelmed and restaurant didn’t do anything to make up for the abnormally...

We showed up for dinner on a Saturday night at 6pm without reservations but we're told it'd be a short wait. Only a few minutes later we were taken to our table by the owner, I presume, who told us that since we didn't have reservations, he'd need the table as soon as we were done with it, so finish up an get out. "I'll be rude to you now so I can be nice later." Seriously?!? I guess their money is different from ours. I mean, it's not the type of place we'll spend all night there or anything, but that's rude.

The waitress was busy and it was a few minutes before we ordered our food. After ordering, we waited... and waited. It was about 45 minutes before our food arrived. The owner kept stopping by telling us how he stops take-out orders when they're busy, how he had 3 large parties coming at 7pm, and how our food would be coming soon.

When we finally got our food, it wasn't anything spectacular. Bigger doesn't always mean better and I could cook a 1 lb glob of burger and save the trip. No seasoning on the meat, canned mushrooms, and processed cheese, and fries were of the frozen variety. Pecan pie was an absolute mess to look at.

The owner did knock off $7 from the tab, but it still didn't make up for the rudeness. Overall,...

Went here for the first time ever to eat I ordered the loaded gunderburger which is what this place is known for and I ordered some onion rings and a Pepsi and let me be proud enough to tell you I polished it all off and it was the best damn Burger I have ever tasted in my life for those of you who don't know what the gunderburger is let me tell you it is literally a pound of hamburger the loaded gunderburger comes along with onions lettuce tomato cheese and a whole lot of mushrooms all combined with a ton of flavor. The onion rings were awesome they weren't these chintzy little onion rings was barely any onion in them these onion rings were big and meaty and you got a good amount of onion and every bite and you just don't see that anywhere else anymore. But enough about the food which I could go on and on and on talking about the waitresses here are great you get treated basically like they know you they don't overly bother you like they do at other restaurants where the damn waitress comes by every 2 minutes asking if you need anything these girls don't do that and the top it off the waitresses here a pretty dang good looking guys...
