Rigoberto's Taco Shop — Restaurant in Poway

Ordered a $14 combo meal to eat in. Everything here is extra. 50 cents to pay. Asked for a few chips to go along with my combo meal while I waited and was told that is an extra $2.96. Paid for that and went to their salsa bar for some Pico de Gallo for my meal & chips. So I ask if they have any Pico de Gallo and the witch tells me all snotty that they don't have it on the salsa bar and that it too is extra. I replied man everything is extra here. Im a paying customer and you'd think that would be provided upon request. The food is mediocre. Typical taco shop fare, however the rice is hard. The first time I was there earlier This week it was awesome, salsa bar, grilled peppers etc. food delicious delicious. The second time or Sunday to be exact not so much, well the food still delicious, but I was bragging about the salsa bar and the grilled peppers to the people I took for lunch, it was disappointing to me because it was not what I advertised to my friends. Salsa bar practically empty, no grilled peppers it all. But I kinda understand. I imagine they don't have a lot of people Sundays, they don't want wasted product. The choice was between this restaurant and a Greek restaurant and I definitely chose wrong. Food wasn't horrible but could be better. I hate leaving bad reviews because these businesses support family's. So I walked in and got a horrible aroma almost like sewage. I ignored the smell and ordered anyway and grabbed the polla asada fries. (My spelling is not perfect). I went and sat down and went to the salsa bar which the utensils had dried food and to my opinion was just dirty. When the utensils you grab feel like sand paper that is not okay. CLEAN YOUR RESTAURANT AND GET RID OF THAT SMELL. NOT GOING BACK...
