New China Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Powhatan

Its a shame that Allens is essentially in the same parking lot, and have this big beautiful restaurant. While Allen's has some LOVELY people working there, who have been extremely nice every time I have gone there, and have a lovely atmosphere, New China absolutely blows them away in the food department. I cannot state enough how much I love their food and the family that runs it are the nicest, most humble people. 100% would (and do!) recommend them to anyone...

New China is the best Chinese food in the area! The staff is kind, helpful, and always greets us with a smile. The food is always hot, fresh, delicious and ready for pickup when they say it will be ready. They offer vegan and vegetarian options, and a really great variety of other types of food. We love this restaurant, and the family that owns and operates it. I can’t say enough wonderful things about them.

I like New China and their food is usually good. However, the last time I ordered from them I had a large order and they said it would be 40 minutes. I got there on time, but it took another 15 minutes. Some of the food that was in the deep fryer was cooked to long and was extra crispy and a little dried out . I think the problem is that there was only 2 people working and they need more help. I will order...
