Lisa's Market Street Grille — Restaurant in Prairie du Rocher

On 3-18-2022 I was a Lisa's. The skinny Minnie blond behind the bar asked "what will you be having?" I said "a Bud heavy". She pops the top off a bottle Bud light. I said "nope". Then she pops off the top of a Busch light. "Nope, not a Bud heavy" She said" I don't know what a Bud heavy is?" "I never heard of that" So I said "Budweiser regular" Then it clicked for her. However for the two Bud Heavy's I consumed. I was charged $18. I assume she changed me for the two she popped the tops on, including the Bud heavy's I consumed. Tho I didn't get the opportunity to drink the Bud Light or Busch Light. So I will not be attending Lisa's ever again.

Before that situation. I had bought a beer before that night. Half drank a beer with my friends. Went out for a smoke. Came back. My half a beer was tossed. A heavy set young blond was working the bar that night. So I don't like Lisa's business habits. I'll steer clear of Lisa's. I'm disappointed I didn't even get a chance to try the "famous fried chicken". Now I have to go to other communities to eat because I don't trust Lisa's business...

Drove over an hour to get there. Dirty back bar, filthy bar floor, rude bartenders, dead bugs in windows, plastic cups for glasses, bartender overpoured so drink was undrinkably strong. I did NOT want to get hammered, just have a good cocktail. Out of there signature Blue Moon for over a week. Ordered food...chicken was good and hot, fries cold and they simply skipped a side with NO replacement offered. When asked bartender shrugged her shoulders and walked away...STILL CHARGED ME FULL PRICE for my meal. NEVER again and will tell anyone who...

I really like this restaurant. I like the small town feel with local pictures on the wall, the old tables and the old bar in the adjoining room. The people eating there are just good small town rural people meeting over their meal with their friends, co-workers, and family. No one is rushing around. Everyone is friendly. The food is always good, the prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. This is my favorite place to meet my brothers for lunch once in a while...
