Great food and great staff. Sadly, the building is just small. So it can't fit a big crowd of people. Still, it's worth the wait. We waited an hour and an half and we were still happy. The staff ran around like crazy keeping up but still were friendly and considerate. There had been gunk in my water and on the Rim of my cup. Only mine, not the others I was with. When we pointed it out to the waitstaff, she was flabbergasted but immediately got me a new one. She even checked it ti make sure nothing was in it. She was great. The food was phenomenal. By that I really mean the burgers. They were perfect. And not burnt at all. French fries and onion rings were fine. Not outstanding, but the burger and mushrooms made up for it exponentially! Plus, the food is not outrageous price. You are getting what you paid for and its worth it. Its nice to have a place give you a good burger for a good price and not hurt the pocket. If I lived nearby, I'd be a regular. Not to mention, I ordered a burger and got one, not a cheeseburger. The staff person even knew the difference which is perfect at a burger joint. Not just asuming I mean cheeseburger when I say hamburger. I do plan to come back and get...
Read moreWas not what I expected. My granddaughter and I were hungry for breakfast. The ad on my cell phone made it sound like this was THE place to go for biscuits and gravy. I ordered the special. My granddaughter ordered the hot cake breakfast. My breakfast was tasteless. I was raised on biscuits and gravy. It reminded me of the worst free motel breakfast ever. It was cold. The hashbrowns were dry and greasy all at the same time. Not sure how they pulled that off. My grand daughter said she liked her breakfast. She said it taste like hospital food. Not sure if that was a compliment. The restaurant is more of a diner/Cafe. Quaint but small and crowded. Walking into this diner was like a scene from an old western movie. Everyone was talking and laughing. If they had had a piano player he would have been playing. He would have been playing that is, until we walked in. Everyone stopped talking and laughing and stared at us. I don't think they are use to out of towners. The waitress seemed bored and surly. She did not seem happy she had to weave her way through the tables to get to us. There is limited places to eat breakfast in Pratt but this experience made me wish I had went to...
Read moreWhat an amazing place!
I recently stopped in (just a short walk from the Evergreen Inn, which I am staying at) for just a cup of coffee.
Immediately upon entering the establishment, I was not only greeted by the staff but also by several of the locals that were seated having a meal. I was even asked to join them at their table!
I ordered my coffee and then began to pursue the menu. There were many breakfast items on the menu (please see attached photos of the menu - as of Sept 28, 2023).
The coffee was so good that I decided to have breakfast to go along with my coffee.
I wound up ordering the Two Eggs, Bacon and Pancake! What a delightful meal!
The staff was very friendly and service was spot on!
The walls of the establishment are adorned with signage of brands from a bygone era (do you remember Diet-Rite Cola?)
I return for breakfast the following two days for breakfast and, again, was not disappointed.
Maybe the next time I am in town I will check out their lunch...
