The food was genuinely enjoyable I loved my French toast, and my parents were happy with their burgers. Unfortunately, the overall experience was affected by the atmosphere and service. From the moment we walked in, we felt out of place. The locals inside greeted us with wary, almost judgmental looks. No one welcomed us at the door, nor were we guided to a table. Once we sat down, our server offered no greeting, no smile just a cold, silent presence. It was clear we weren’t from the area, and while no one asked, that fact seemed to shape how we were treated. Visited here on 2/14/25 with our grandbabies We started off with the Green Fried Tomatoes which were absolutely delicious! My only complaint as such would be they need to have small plates.l not bowls because you really can't cut them up in a bowl with tearing them up! Also need to bring a knife with them. Some of the best I have ever had! One grandson had the grilled cheese and fries! He loved the grilled cheese but didn't care for the fries. He prefers skinny fries!
