This is a decent place to eat. We had a party of 14 with kids. Called ahead for a reservation, which was a good idea with that many people. They seemed to have issues with drinkware supplies. We didn't all get waters right away, and some didn't get any. I was one of them. I did order a Mojito, which I had to return because it didn't taste right. The second one they brought out didn't really either and was in a pint glass. Seems like they were missing something. Mint leaves, rum, lime juice, simple syrup, club soda. It tasted like it was missing simple syrup and lime juice or maybe just simple syrup. The food was ok and took a little bit to all come. The salmon was overcooked. Was not just a one-off instance because there were three of us who got it. They use pollack now instead of walleye for their fried 1/2lb and 1 lb baskets. This was the main thing most people went there to eat. They do have blackened walleye...

Fish was tasty with thin coating, garlic mashed potato were simply delicious. We much enjoyed the hot fresh buttered small loaf of bread served with a colorful salad. Our waitstaff person was very nice, knowledgeable about all menu items and did NOT hover or intrude. Very pleasant person. Referred by a friend, who said simply well cooked and tasty food with a wonderful river view...

The food is still excellent, but missing from the menu is the whole catfish ("takes too long to cook"), replaced instead with just two fillets. As I asked my dinner companion who tried the fillets how they were the reply was, "Nothing special".
Not in a hurry to go back - and this was the place where we would celebrate the big events in our life: first date, engagement, 10-year anniversary, meeting good friends. Sad to see the almighty dollar take precedence...
