I went to Lake Como Pizza to visit my daughter on her camp's visiting day. We got a pie, a large order of cheese fries, and three overpriced drinks. Having spent two years of my life managing a pizzeria, my expectations were high.
For the pizza, the sauce was sickeningly sweet and lacked authenticity and didn't even taste like it came from a tomato. The crust was hard, presumably because it was made the night before (or perhaps earlier).
The fries were bland, and I don't think it could even be called "cheese fries" because there were maybe 2 shredded slices of mozzarella on there. With certainly, I can say that the fries came out of a bag in some freezer, and anyone with taste buds would surely agree.
In general, it felt like I was paying premium prices for inferior product. I'm disappointed.
