David's Cafe — Restaurant in Preston

David's Cafe is your typical Dive Bar you can play darts you can play pool but on special nights you can sing karaoke which is why I like to go on Tuesday nights to take my dad out and give him a night on the town. Usually the karaoke songs are pretty good once in awhile you get someone singing a song that is a bit off color. The people are friendly to staff is friendly and quite busy. They serve food there it seems like until closing. it's kind of out in the boonies accessible by the freeway quite easily.. surprisingly every time I've been there there's been a good crowd on Tuesday nights. Come on out for some karaoke fun enjoying Brenna from Spotlight entertainment she does an awesome job with karaoke and you're sure to have a good time whether you sing or whether you enjoy listening! I have no idea who "Dave Kravitz" is but the real owner of the building is a great guy and the same goes for the gentleman who runs/owns David's Cafe. It's been awhile since I've regularly found myself kicking back drinks at David's but I still stop in here and there. Take it for what it is: A great "dive bar" with decent food (it seems to get better the longer you stay 🤔), a couple pool tables, some darts, a Pac Man machine, a group of dedicated regulars hanging tough since the 90's, and if you're unfortunate enough to show up on the wrong night a pair of buzzed "besties" murdering hits from "Now That's What I Call Music 1". Like a lot of places though I've found that more than anything the people I'm out with along with myself are in control of whether or not we have a good time...

Originally the plan was not to stop in this place, it was on our way to the final destination and due we like to eat, we pick it as lunch stop point.

I like the place, it is pretty classic American, the menu is pretty good and is heavy sandwich related, so I love it.

My wife order the parm chicken sandwich and I ask to modify the chilli steak to add some jalapeños on the process.

The Philly is the best Philly that I ever in CT, 100% sure, the flavor, portion and balance was amazing, before asking the check, I was about to order one to go, but I believe thst is better to return back and try it again.

The people here is pretty friendly with all customers and talkative.
