Dunkin' — Restaurant in Preston

Every local knows this is the worst Dunkin in the entire county. I’ve traveled through the entire east coast and a little bit west and haven’t come across one as bad let alone worse. Lived near this all my life and out of the 10 ish times I’ve gone here they messed up my order every single time. The past 3 times I’ve stopped here was actually just to see if they will mess it up, they did. Happens to everyone I know, and I don’t order anything complicated at all. The food that is cooked is always slapped together pathetically and ice cold in the middle, and they almost always give you a bacon egg and cheese when you order a sausage, assuming it’s just easier for them to heat up? Don’t order anything with an espresso shot either, they won’t put it in and they will charge you for it and think they got away with it. The drive through window opens and it smells like you stopped at a dispensary, your large iced coffee will have 4 floating melting ice cubes and be 3/4 full, the list goes on. It’s literally Opposite Day at the drive through every single day. I’m not even typing this out of anger I’m just baffled. Nothing in this was exaggerated a bit, if you don’t believe me then go try it lol. Might make a YouTube video on how many times they can mess up...

Went to the drive through, ordered a hot pumpkin spice latte. The teller went silent. Then when she was back said “so you wanted a caramel…” to which my husband corrected her. He then ordered a pumpkin cream cold brew. We waited in a long line to finally get to the window. They handed him a plain iced coffee, no cream. When he said something there was no offer to correct it. He said it was fine and he would drink it anyway. We waited several more minutes. Then they handed him an iced pumpkin spice latte. He said i ordered a hot. They responded with “that’s not what was put in the ticket” another several minutes later they handed us a hot coffee cup with COLD coffee in it. I told the girl working that the coffee should be hot to which she responded “the milk makes it cold”…at this point my mind is absolutely blown. We gave it back and said it needed to be hot. I got the same coffee cup back with spilled coffee all down the sides. At least it was hot the third time around. Needless to say we will not be visiting this...

Had to repeat my order twice, it was repeated back to me incorrectly, and when I tried to talk again, a customer interrupted the clerk at the register and she then asked me, "What did you say?" and I walked out. Absolutely terrible service this morning- This was completely unacceptable, and she even shot back at the customer who was complaining about his coffee that she didn't make it. (Typically I'm waited on by a woman named Louise, who is an absolute sweetheart and one of the best employees at this particular site).

For the record, I had been spending about $25 a week there during my work year, and that amounted to about a $1000 a year that I'd paid as a customer here. I think you're ultimately going to pay that employee more than that for the $1000 annually you've lost going forward.
