Atmosphere and style is upbeat and eye-catching. It looks like the kind of place that would have good food and have it all together. Not having indoor seating doesn't make sense for a burger joint in a place that has 4-5 months of winter every year. The staff seemed to be doing well enough, but the food....not so much:
--Burger-Really chewy meat. It was odd. I ordered a double meat, no cheese (if I pay that kind of money for a cheeseburger please no processed American "cheese"). The burger taste was not memorable. If you are coming from the south, save yourself the extra trip time and stop at In-N-Out in Logan. Although a little smaller burger there, the meat is much tastier and has the texture of good beef. --Fries-The fries were pretty good at first. I liked the texture and they were not bad on flavor. However, before I could finish them they seemed overly greasy and lost their savor and I ended up tossing them. --Mint/Oreo shake-Good texture; tasted pretty good at first although I could barely taste the mint. By the end the mint was unnoticeable. The typical soft-serve ice cream machine stuff full of who knows what.
I'm local and will likely never go back. It's opening has been heavily marketed but it just isn't worth the money. I spent $19.58 for the double burger with no cheese, the fries and the shake. I'll save my dollars and go to In-N-Out next time (although I don't buy their shakes, they are even worse).
Despite the fact the owner started Crumbl (which are some of the most processed cookies you'll find), I was hoping they would do the Polar Bear name right with the freshest ingredients and best taste. It's not there: Not even in...

Ever ventured into the wild for a burger? Well, I just did at Polar Bear, and it's a journey worth taking! This isn't just a burger joint; it's a flavor expedition where every bite brings a new surprise.
First off, the fries - oh, the fries! They're not just good; they're a crispy, golden revelation. If you don't order fries, you just made your life a little less happy, okaaaay.
And the shakes? Thick, creamy, and bursting with real fruit flavors, these shakes are like a sweet embrace in a cup. Each sip is a mini-vacation to fruit paradise with a REAL FRUIT taste.
Now, let's talk ambiance. Polar Bear doesn't just serve food; they serve experiences. The branding and atmosphere are a feast for the eyes, with every detail thoughtfully crafted. It's like stepping into a wonderland where burgers and nostalgia are king.

Read moreGreat food, love the vibe, I like the direction things are going here. Feels like the sort of place you'd want to hang out with friends in the good old days eating shakes with a bunch of muscle cars in the parking lot. Outdoor only seating if you want to sit and eat and not just use the drive through, which during winter is a bit cold despite their heaters. I think if they figure out some sort or wind break for the winter that would work fairly well. Ordering was interesting because the menu was literally around the corner from where the ordering window is. This could easily be remedied by having an additional copy of the menu on the windows above the ordering window. Unfortunately they did put onions on my wife's burger despite requesting no onions. However all the food, the fries, everything was delicious and extremely fresh. Really strong onions wherever they got them. Lastly, understanding the vibe they are going for, I think not having hot chocolate this time of year in winter is a huge missed opportunity. I don't think they should go for coffee, as I don't think that quite fits, but a nice hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon on top would really well and extend their outdoor atmosphere season to a year long thing. Overall, great food, great vibe, there are some extremely simple improvements that could be made to make it a go to spot year...
