Tattles Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Preston

I have came to tattles before and had the owner help us and everything was great. But this time I had a young blond waitress. I ordered the chicken salad and a scone. I let her know no butter no cheese that I was allergic to dairy. My order was the last to come out with cheese on the salad and butter on the scone. I sent it back and I’m pretty sure they dumped the salad upside down on another pate and brought it back to me so I could not see the cheese. The scone same thing you could see where they scoop the butter off and brought it back out. When I ask to speak with the manager it was an older lady that came out super rude. When I told her what had happened she said well ya you came close to close so they were closing the kitchen so that happens. I said I understand that but I sent it back to have them bring it back still covered in dairy she continued to tell me that it happens cause I came close to closing and they were closing the kitchen. I tried to explain to her that that could kill someone and she just informed me that she knows that. But I came in close to closing. I have never went anywhere with the lack of care as this lady had. FOOD WAS GREAT SERVICE UNFORTUNATELY WASN'T We drove from Logan all the way here our only day off from work we really don't like going out to eat and have a server make us feel rushed,not to mention the way a person dresses doesn't determine if we can or can't afford to go out or tip nicely. Our waitress took our drink order dropped them off took our food order and dropped our food off. When she finally came by it wasn't to check on us but to drop off our ticket, it was until then we had to ask for more coffee we weren't even done asking for refills when she started walking away I she had to stop when I asked for more chocolate milk for our son, she even questioned if we really wanted another chocolate milk for our son since it's not included in refills we wouldn't have asked if we didn't expect to pay for another, gave up on asking if they had any hot chocolate since she seemed in such a rush no she wasn't busy, we didn't even feel comfortable placing a Togo order with her, my husband decided to ask another lady if it was possible to place a two go order with her she said yes, she took the order, she also helped us check out she was amazing very attentive especially...

Disappointing Experience – Misleading Hours and Poor Service

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience here was frustrating enough to warrant one. We chose this restaurant based on the posted hours, which suggested that the kitchen would still be open when we arrived. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case — only the bar was operating, and that important detail was not made clear.

Still, we decided to stay for a drink, hoping for at least a decent bar experience. However, we were never greeted or acknowledged by any staff, even after sitting ourselves at a table near the bar. We waited for over five minutes without anyone checking in — not even the bartender, who clearly saw us but made no effort to engage.
