Our experience started off quite wonderfully. we’ve heard very good things about this restrant, so we finally made the time to go down try it for ourselves. the dining experience started out perfect. The service was fine, our food came out very promptly, the short haired woman behind the counter was definitely earning her payday she did not stop working the entire time we were dining and our food was even better then we were told it was gona be. I would have really loved to give this place a solid 5 star rate because of how clean everything was how quick the food came out and how excellentely it was prepared- and then in an instant all of that went out the window as far as experience goes because of the young man frantically searching for something to complain about from the looks of it. I was patiently waiting because I wanted to thank the cook personally for such a pleasant meal and let her know we would definitely be back but my mind was quickly changed after witnessing the way this young man spoke to his coworker and elders. I silently left without being able to even thank her because the profanitees being yelled and how disrespectfully he was acting. It made me very uncomfortable especaly after watching how hard she was working for the duratin of our meal. It seemed very unnecessary and was definitly VERY unprofeshional. Too bad he doesn’t care about the guests as much as he cared about digging throu the trash to lecture the woman behind the counter about how dirty a napkin is. That is the point I walked out not sure if we will...
Read moreTraveling from Louisiana to SLC. When we saw Greek Streak we were excited because I know of the Greek influence in Price. After waiting 10 minutes to be acknowledged because the server and cook were too involved in their conversation, I asked for drinks. Another 5 minutes went by, so again, I approached the service desk. Again, we waited another 5 minutes and got our drinks when the only other table was ready for their dinner. They were addressed by first name, obviously they were more important. Food: NOTHING AUTHENTIC about it. Greek salad...NOT! LAMB was so overcooked it was tough. Not to mention that the dinner was drowned in tomato sauce. Couldn't even taste the rice(which should have lemon and mint) because of all of the tomato sauce. The calamari? Really? It was like eating Gorton's fish sticks(no offense Gorton's). OH! And the Spanikopita... Nothing inside worth eating, especially since it was so undercooked it tasted like flour and nothing else. Ultimately I canceled the take out I had ordered. Why bother?! Lastly I have been a server for 40 years, and would never have so much time jovially interacting with the staff instead of taking care...
Read moreI still wonder why this place has so many good opinions on google. This was one of the reasons (second was our love for Greek cuisine) we have chosen to dine there during our drive from SLC to Moab and unfortunately this was a disappointment. The place looks like the time stopped there 30 yrs ago (or maybe even more). We should have left a minute after entering, but we gave it a chance since family restaurants are sometimes super quality. But here no one even got interested when we entered and took a seat... I had to go and take menu myself. Out of the things we wanted half was not available (2nd moment we should have left), given fork was dirty (3rd...)... When we finally got the meal (which I admit was super quick - with consequences) part of 1 order was mismatched but we havent said a thing, we had no time to argue. Gyro was decent, pita as well, souvlaki were super dry - for sure they were prepared earlier and just re-heated. And it was a shame cause they were nicely seasoned and could have been really good piece of meat. Overall could have been much much better. Not...
