Fry Daddy's — Restaurant in Prichard

We were iffy about stopping at this place due to mixed reviews but we were driving back to TX and wanted to try something different. We placed our order for the homestyle burger and philly but with fries upgraded to the freaky fries. We were told 20-25mins......which was much longer than we expected to wait but 2e here now. We checked back 2 different times and food STILL wasn't ready. Our order took 50mins to get. They told my hubby that our order takes more time. Ummm...why?? A piece or 2 of chicken, chilli, cheese sauce, bacon and parsley were added to the fries for the upgrade, what takes so long about that? There were only 2 ppl working and it's an extremely small location to be accepting not only walk up/drive thru orders but also GrubHub/UberEats and whatever else. Absolutely terrible at st.stephens location! Called in my order. Got there and found out that I would have to pay first before my food was even cooked. No one told me that on phone🤔Had a long line of angry people waiting too long for their orders already. I asked how long would the wait be before I paid. The girl beat around the bush with my answer. Instead of being honest as I asked over and over again how "long would the wait be " She and the guy in back kept saying "won't be long " instead of giving me a straight answer. They were trying to be conning to get my money. Until the angry customers waiting told me to go elsewhere. Because they were being dishonest. The customer service is POOR the staff is unprofessional and they do not care about customers. I called and they placed me on hold so they could finish their personal conversation that they were having on their phone. Then proceeds to tell me i have to add something through the doordash app that IS NOT AN OPTION THAT THEY HAVE ON THERE WHICH I TOLD HER MULTIPLE TIMES! I offered to pay the extra when i got in the store and she refused to do it. This is something i have done multiple times since I’m doing a pick up order. The food was not ready at the estimated time frame which it always takes FOREVER for them to make your food. Once i sat outside and saw them not making my food after i had called ahead.
