I came here with my family for Father’s Day breakfast. I knew it would be busy, but that doesn’t excuse for lacking service. While waiting an hour for food, I watched 2 families leave after hearing they waited 2 hours for food that never came. Our menus were taken before we ordered, and there were a few food mishaps. The BELT I ordered was missing the “T”, the homestyle fries (while absolutely delicious) were cold, and we never received one of the items we ordered. The woman behind the counter also caught an attitude with a man simply asking where to order and food orders going to the wrong places. There was one really nice woman, who I believe might be the owner, walking around trying to help everyone and apologizing for the wait times and checking on how the food was. She was so sweet and attentive, and her checking in was greatly appreciated. While I might come back for the great food (and the amazing sweet tea), I would not come back for the service. I can understand the stress of holidays and a busy morning, but I hope they have better days...
Read moreThis place is very old looking, the food is very disappointing when it comes to flavor. It looks good and is hot and fresh, but it leaves you wanting more flavor for the price. The cheese steak eggrolls were just meat and cheese, leaving me wanting some fresh ingredients in them like onions and peppers. The wings were requested crispy but were served soggy. Looked dark like they were cooked long enough. However, I would say that is because of old oil. The beef tacos are light on flavor as well, and the hard shell was a bit stale. A quick warm-up in a deep fryer with fresh oil would cure that. They were stuffed so full there was no room for the salsa, sour cream, or cheese that they serve on the side. Save your money unless you're already drunk and hungry. This is basically the only scenario I can dream up where this food...
Read moreThis is my local watering hole, I live a half mile away and I’ve gone there roughly every day or every other day for over 8 years, and because this bar is off the beaten path it has the most diverse crowd ranging from white collar to blue collar and everything in between. The prices are about half the price of going all the way to Solomons Island which is a fancy area about 15 miles south and has multiple bar and grills down there but this one is close to home and the food, the workers, the prices and the crowd diction any given night of the locals is just right for me and about 50 or 60...
