Aubade Coffee — Restaurant in Princeton

The owner is very knowledgeable (more than your average coffee shop owner) on coffee. He knows his product from caffeine content to the origin of the beans. To top it off, he's a very nice guy and cares about his business and customers.

I ordered a decaf coffee and it wasn't my thing (not that it was bad, I am just a very picky person), DJ (I believe that was his name but I'm better with faces) wanted to know my true thoughts on the coffee and I told him politely that it was a good coffee, but just not particularly my thing.

He instantly made it right by offering me an herbal tea on the house. I didn't even expect that, as the coffee not meeting my high expectations is no one else's fault but mine, but he never thought twice.

In case you were wondering, I believe it was a lavender tea and it was excellent.

With working its hard to find time to go, but going back is definitely on my agenda. 5 stars....

If you're looking for an uplifting place to start your day that just so happens to make the best cup of coffee I've ever had, this is the place! I always thought I liked sweet coffee, but after trying the cappuccino here, I realized I just need to find the right coffee shop.

The amount of love and precision put into each and every cup of coffee at Aubade is the same from the moment the doors open until they close. From the house-made syrups to the thoughtfully selected beans and roasts, you can truthfully taste the difference in their carefully curated cups of coffee. No need to overburden your taste buds with unnecessary sugar!

Just like there is an entire world of wine, there is an entire world of coffee - and David's the guy to chat with about it.

Princeton, WV is blessed to have this coffee shop...

If we could give this cafe a 10 star review, we would! Just passing through, my husband and I found Audabe by shear luck. Coming in, we were immediately welcomed by DJ and Mason, who were absolutely delightful. We got to know them and their story while they were making our beverages-it was lovely.

My iced vanilla matcha was very balanced and full of wonderful flavor-and the syrup is house made! My husband really enjoyed his espresso and latté. We also got to try some unique experimental coffee offerings that were delicious.

Though we are from Colorado, we would love to make stopping in Audabe a priority whenever we are in town...
