Management really needs to change.
I come to this coffee shop everyday almost for the 4yrs. Lately, my experiences have been horrible. Yesterday, I walked in due to the drive thru line being extremely long. I stood there for 8mins without a greeting, without being helped nothing while there was 5 people working. I ended up leaving.
Last Wednesday, I walked in for a mobile order. I saw my drink, with my name on it that was made sitting on the counter. I had asked them if that was mine by chance and was told in a very rude tone “ it might be, but you will get it after everyone else that ordered in line gets theirs” I asked nicely again if I could please get my drink that’s sitting there melting after I had patiently waited 5mins and someone finally handed to me.
The week prior I was trying to use a reward I had on my app, a lady snapped at me and told me I can’t use it. It was an upgraded size reward.
To me it seems like the process/management is just not working for this location. Staff never really seems happy, there is always a grumpy lady who I assume is the manager, not really treating customers the best. The inside of this location looks like a bomb went off. Flys everywhere, coffee spilt everywhere. The condiment station is never stocked or clean.
I hope this location...
Read moreThis caribou location has always been slow but today was the worst experience I’ve had there. I was in the drive through from 8:54-9:11. That’s 17 min to get an order. Once I almost reached the window, the car in front of me received their drink and then proceeded to chat with Jean at the window for about 2 min. I thought she was perhaps waiting for more items, nope, drove off after they caught up. So I pull up to the window and see my order sitting there. I also see 3 employees standing in the drive through area talking to each other. No one acknowledged me for at least a minute. They just talked amoungst themselves while my order sat and got colder. When I finally was talked to, the order amount was not what was quoted at the speaker.. whatever I just wanted my drinks before the whipped cream melted. I gave her my card and then sat another minute while they talked to each other some more. When I finally got my order, I had to wait longer for them to get my muffin. This location is usually very slow and I factor that in, but today was not an acceptable experience for a quick service place. Jean and her friends at the drive through window need to focus on getting customers their orders and chatting only when there aren’t 9 other...
Read moreThe drinks were awesome. Made exactly as ordered and hot. I thought the service was a bit lackluster or blah maybe. It just seemed as if maybe she didn't want to be there or possibly wasn't happy with the tip I left. I'm not sure. Either way it was enough to take away from my whole experience. I normally tip 15 to 20 % but that day I was actually pretty broke, as are many people these days. But that doesn't warrant not saying thank you or have a good day or suddenly turning the cold shoulder. Remember...the customer that tipped not to your liking one day may return the next day and make it up to you, but not when you reflect an ungrateful attitude. Sometimes people would still like to have coffee but may be a little short on cash flow. But if your kind and grateful for their continued support of the establishment they will want to keep coming back when their pockets are a bit heavier. Otherwise there are plenty of coffee shops that I'm sure would love their business and maybe their employees would love to keep their jobs and not get their hours cut due to lack of business. Without your customer base you fail to have a job....
