Golden Grain Artisanal Bread — Restaurant in Princeton

Heard about this place from one of my customers who encouraged us to try a sample of a fresh sourdough he had just purchased. It was still warm and had bits of caramelized onion and bacon throughout. Went on website to check out hours and days open. Place is a few miles out but definitely worth the trip. DONT GO UP THE DRIVEWAY. Everything is in the " Quaint Shack" on left. Definitely an honor system or venmo payment. PRE- ORDERED items on left are all labeled for pickup .The baked goods are well organized and have a generous selection of homemade breads , cookies and brownies. There was only one bag of brown butter salted CC cookies left, so I grabbed an extra bag so my co worker and I could share them. Grabbed a sour dough as well . As we were leaving the baker's mom came with more bags of cookies which didn't hesitate to purchase another bag before leaving. Absolutely delicious, fresh and well thought out ingredients. I’ve been buying bread from Golden Grain on a weekly basis for about a month now, and my whole family loves it. My husband prefers the crusty Demi-baguette (sliced with a little bit of brie is heaven!) while my daughter and I think the focaccia is amazing.
