Roma's House of Pizza — Restaurant in Prosperity

Once we arrived, no one greeted us or asked us where we would like to sit or anything. We just sat down at a table and the top of it was very wet. Someone must had just cleaned it. We waited and waited and finally someone came to our table and asked would we like something to drink, my guest and I both got water. Next we waited again for our food order to be taken. Once that finally happened, it did start to get busy. We waited and waited and waited.... I even saw a couple that came in after us place their order after we did, get their food and were eating while we were still waiting to be served! When our meals finally arrived everything was fine. I got a 10" Greek Pizza 🍕 that was good, not great. I don't recall exactly what my guest got, but I remember her saying that she enjoyed her meal and that it was a lot of food for the price! There are so many different items on their menu I wanted to try something else. I think that I'll be back to tryout...

We recently moved here and were delighted to find this restaurant. The pizza is delicious. (A rare find in South Carolina!) The sauce is exceptional, leaning toward the sweet side, with a great, fresh, tomato flavor and not the "pasty" type that most places have in South Carolina. We'd almost given up on even trying any Italian food, but this is so good. The side salad is quite large with feta and a delicious Greek dressing that I'd recommend. They have grated parm and crushed peppers as well. This is clearly a locals' favorite, and the hard-working people there deserve some credit in these tough times. We have been served quickly and appreciate the hustle of the staff to keep everything moving. There's always a stream of carry-out orders, which tells you that the food is good. We've been pleased with their wine selection, and are thrilled to frequent and support...

Ignored and unwelcome… Upon entering at 6:15 PM today I sat at a table. Within seconds, after leaving the table next to me, the manager walked past me. Then the manager walked past me again back to the table he was just at, speaking to the customers, walked past me again, went behind the counter, grabbed two menus for a couple that came in a couple of minutes after I did. He handed them the menus, got their drink order and returned behind the counter. He then started helping a customer at the counter who came in after the couple.....obviously he didn’t want to serve me so I left, and definitely will not be returning. I work in the medical field in several nearby towns and have been wanting to try this place for a while....oh well, I’ll search for another, more inviting...
