I visited on a Sunday around 1pm with my famly, we were a party of 3, as soon as we got up the hill to the parking lot a attendant stopped us and asked us if we had a reservation, I told him I did not since the people that recommended me the restaurant never mentioned I needed one, so he said for us to wait in the car while he checked if they could accommodate us. After a couple of minutes he came back saying that they could receive us but that it had to be a table without a view, inside the restaurant. So if you are interested in a view, which I think is worth it, you should make a reservation and ask for it. The place is beautiful, with great views, because of the name I though it was kind of a informal countryside BBQ kind of restaurant, but instead is a upscale place with a sophisticated countryside look. This is a place visited by affluent people, you can see the Maserati and Range Rovers parked outside. We ordered a sampler of 5 different preparations, it included churrasco, chicken, ribs, shrimps and longaniza, for $40, it was enough for us 3. Most of the plates range from the $19 to $30. The food was very good, the churrasco was tender, the chicken had a sweet sauce, which I liked and the shrimp were delicious. To drink we had delicious mojitos, we had a acerola and one with grapes and coconut, both were outstanding. The dessert, a cheesecake tempura, was delicious and a great way to finish lunch. The service was great, our server was very attentive and everything came out fast. Although it was not what I expected because of the name of the restaurant, it was a...
Read moreFantastic service. We had a reservation but arrived a bit earlier than expected. The waiters were already waiting for us at the entrance.
Everything was carefully choreographed. It was impressive.
We had six (6) in our group.
appetizers: queso kasseri (I personally tried; really good) Chicharrón KanKan (supposedly very good) croquetas de Bacalao iirc (supposedly good) main: churrasco (apparently good) with tostones (ok) filet mignon (peculiar; I didn’t like it) with Papas Gratinadas (loved) I think together the group had all the fish dishes and they loved them. Apparently the risotto was really nice too. dessert: everyone was super full but the waitress was so good when describing an orange cake iirc (I don’t recall seeing it on the menu) that we ordered one. My wife loved it. drinks: iirc juice, something like a chelada, a cocktail, sodas and water
Everything came out quickly.
I might be missing a dish. This happened about two weeks ago. By the way, we went early in the afternoon.
When we arrived they might have recently opened and they were serving three tables. By when we left, the place was packed.
I would repeat this place. The service was amazing. I can’t stress it enough -thus far it has been the best service we’ve experienced in PR.
Overall, everyone was impressed with the food. I would probably order the queso as dessert too (it was really good). My wife had previously tried Manjar Vegetariano and loved it. So, I might try that next time.
Ah and the views are amazing too. I think we were seeing all the way to Bahía...
Read moreThis is a must-visit restaurant for those seeking a memorable dining experience in the mountains. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as this popular spot is well worth planning ahead for. The service is impeccable, with attentive and honest staff ensuring your visit is top-notch. Our server's guidance and honesty were particularly appreciated. The food and drinks are excellent, featuring high-quality ingredients and a well-curated selection. While the menu is somewhat limited, it’s important to note that the main dishes come with only the protein as described, without any side dish. Unlike other places, side dishes must be ordered separately for an additional fee. The restaurant boasts a breathtaking view of the country valley and surrounding mountains. On days when it rains just a bit, you might even catch a complete rainbow – a truly magical sight. Live music adds to the ambiance, though it can be a bit loud if you're seated close to the performers, making continuous conversation challenging. However, the atmosphere, music, food, and quality of service made for an overall delightful experience. Highly recommended for those who appreciate great service, excellent food, and nice...
