Chalan's Restaurant Carnes y Mariscos — Restaurant in Puerto Rico

Excellent food and friendly staff. Being a visitor with almost no Spanish I was nervous coming to what is obviously a local joint. Once I determined that there are three sections of the restaurant, I was able to get some friendly service. There is a large outdoor deck area, a gaming room and an indoor dining room. The indoor dining room is what I would recommend if you're here to eat.

The mixed seafood mofongo was my first mofongo ever, and it was absolutely packed with delicious seafood. I'm not sold on the mofongo itself, but I'm sure they made it well. It just might not be my thing.

The arancini were tasty but definitely not like the Italian version.

I hope to return when there are live lobsters in the tank! I will update if...

Nice Rest. Tasty food. Two Appetizers Where Awesome for example: Arancini, Bolitas de Bacalao Yuca and Cordon blue. My friends ordered Mofongo stuffed with lobster. I had Mofongo stuffed with chicken in criolla sauce, i ask the waiter for three times the garlic they normally put, i was the only one who ordered like this, my friends tasted and they love the sauce. Clean Restrooms Very friendly waiter. His name is Adrian, he is bilingual both spanish and english, he did great job in order to fill our needs.
