A Hidden Gem with Heartwarming Food, Ambiance & Hospitality
I stumbled upon this charming café and was instantly captivated by its inviting atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The décor was a perfect blend of cozy and stylish—warm wooden tables, handwritten menu boards, and soft, natural lighting that made the whole space feel welcoming. Thoughtful little touches, like mismatched sugar jelly cups on the tables, added a personal, homey feel that made me want to settle in and stay awhile.
I ordered Hot tea and a breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs, fresh veggies, and crispy hash browns—every bite was perfection. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and chosen with care. The balance of flavors was spot-on, making for a wholesome, satisfying breakfast.
What truly made this place stand out, though, was the people behind it. The owner came over with a warm smile and shared the story of how the café started. It’s a true family-run business, with his wife and kids all contributing to the magic of the place. Their passion was evident in every detail—from the beautifully plated dishes to the warmth in their service.
If you’re looking for a spot that serves not just incredible food but also a heartfelt experience, this café is an absolute must-visit. I can’t wait...
Read moreWonderful breakfast at Jelly Bird Cafe & Bakery this morning at 9:00 am Friday June 21, 2024. The cafe was very close to being full and i could tell it was going to be a good experience when i noticed all the happy customers inside enjoying themselves. Right away one of the owners family members found us a table and brought us a large cup of tasty decaf coffee. I ordered the breakfast bowl and my wife got a breakfast sandwich. All of the food was fresh and tasty. They have done a very good job of sourcing their food and coffee. The staff is very fast and checked on us often and kept our coffee mugs full. They asked questions like, "is everything OK," or words to that effect. So, if you need something or have a suggestion I felt like they were listening. Based on the picture on the wall it appears that they build their tables from felled trees on their property. I noticed several groups of people. So, word must already be out that it is fun to meet friends there. In fact, one group had 10 people. We are not breakfast people. However we enjoyed the Jelly Bird Cafe and Bakery and...

There was something in my eggs like shells and they were under cooked. My son got half order biscuit and gravy side of fruit hair in the fruit. The waiter did take off the price of fruit 2.50 and the pancake but I leave hungry n upset.26.95 to be hungry. I look in the kitchen when checking out noone has hair net . Gross. I have been about 5 times normally it was good food quick service . I will not come back again after today's experience. The owner was there sat right next to me to talk with some people he knew did not say a word he wasnt even made aware. It seems a bunch of kids are managing this place. It would have been better had they remade my eggs and pancake but instead let me have a changed opinion...
