Six of us was excited to eat here ... friends & family at the restaurant. Ordered & when they brought our food... everyone received their meal except for mine. I waited... they took a couple their food first (they came in about 15 minutes after us). Finally brought mine. I ordered a calzone. I cut into it and it was cold. It wasn't even warm inside. I took it to the counter & said it was cold needs warming. I sat through my family & friends eating there whole meal & finishing it...without my meal. As I waited patiently... I was watching people come in & gave their orders at other tables & they received them. Some of them even ordered, sit down waited on their to go orders....they received them & left. Also call in orders...came in pickup & left. Still no meal for me! I was getting upset. I told my husband I will not come back to this restaurant, again. After an hour I received my meal. I told the waitress I would not come back there, again. She said, well we made you a new fresh one & we are busy & you see how it is. I thought really! Then my sister-in-law spoke up & said, you should have seen her at the bagel shop the other day. Her bagel was so messy it was really bad. She has this happening to her all the time. I couldn't believe my sister-in-law said that. Then the owner waitress said, to me...it must be you if you have these problems everywhere you go...I think you need to straighten yourself out or something. I was shocked! I told her she was rude....she said, no you are & few more things was said. I was insulted humiliated everything..... worst business owner I have ever experienced in my whole entire life. First time for everything. The owner blamed me for all her mistakes. Really! I do not need to be treated in this manner. Definitely don't need all the drama...especially at a restaurant....when I was just wanting a peaceful meal with my family &...
Read moreMy brother and I stopped here for lunch today. First off, the owners are your hosts. Everything is made by Sal, who is from Naples, Italy and cooks/bakes authentic Italian food. His lovely wife greets you and serves your meal, makes you feel welcome and engages with you (if you are a talker, like me!). We had a pizza and it was amazing, even requesting extra pepperoni and a “crisp” crust was done with a smile. Several folks were in the eatery and enjoying their lunches, so I was able to view different items. A couple were eating sandwiches which were abundant with fixings, another couple ordered spaghetti and meatballs (Sal makes the meatballs, too), a pizza and garlic knots, and everyone was saying what a great place this was and that the food was incredible, I totally agree. I’m sorry I don’t have any photos to share, but do yourself a favor and check this lovely quaint eatery out, you will be glad you did! Thank ya’ll for a wonderful lunch, we...
Read moreOrdered take out since we were kinda close to closing time by the time my husband and I decided on what to have for dinner. Not used to places closing by 7pm on a Friday night but we figured we would give this place a try, I read good reviews. Greeted warmly and friendly owners chatted while I waited a couple minutes until my order was ready. Noticed the cannoli in the display case and figured I would put that on my list to try another time. Ordered the house special pizza and it did not disappoint. I usually can't eat the crust of any pizza here in Florida, but these New Yorkers know how to do pizza! Yummy. Really nice menu with typical Italian dishes so we will be back! Its just past the blinking light at Disston Ave in the plaza with a Florist/event business if you're coming from PG. Its worth the trip from Arcadia!...
